Les anglicismes phonétiques touchent la prononciation des mots. Le mot zoo prononcé « zou » sous l’influence du mot anglais zoo constitue un anglicisme phonétique. On devrait plutôt prononcer « zo ».
Par ailleurs, certains mots se prononcent différemment selon la région ou le pays. Les anglicismes phonétiques peuvent donc varier d’une région ou d’un pays à l’autre.
Le tableau ci-dessous présente une liste non exhaustive d’anglicismes phonétiques.
