Si on emploie consister dans, le sujet désigne une chose dans sa totalité :
- Le véritable don de soi consiste dans l’abnégation.
Consister à suivi d’un infinitif est également correct dans ce sens :
- Sa tâche principale consiste à réviser des textes.
