Le tour facturer quelque chose à quelqu’un est préférable à facturer quelqu’un pour quelque chose. On dit :
- facturer trois ordinateurs et deux imprimantes à un client (et non : facturer un client pour trois ordinateurs et deux imprimantes)
On peut employer facturer quelque chose avec un seul complément :
- Elle n’a pas encore facturé cette commande.
- Ce produit n’a pas été facturé.
- Cet article a été facturé dix dollars.
