L’expression forger une signature est un calque de to forge a signature. Le verbe français forger n’a pas le sens d’imiter ou d’imiter frauduleusement. Il faut plutôt employer le verbe contrefaire.

  • Il a été radié pour avoir contrefait la signature d’un client.
    (et non : pour avoir forgé la signature d’un client)
