Le nom gazebo est employé en anglais pour désigner un abri de jardin. Les dictionnaires ignorent le terme en français. Les équivalents proposés sont, selon le contexte :
- belvédère
- gloriette
- kiosque (de jardin)
- pavillon (de jardin)
Exemples
- Au bout du terrain, au bord de la falaise, un pavillon se dressait comme une invitation à admirer le fleuve.
- Nous dînerons dans le kiosque de jardin décoré de fleurs blanches et roses.
