Les adjectifs inférieur et supérieur ne peuvent s’employer avec les comparatifs moins et plus. Par contre, ils peuvent se construire avec les expressions de beaucoup, bien ou très :
- Les profits de cette année sont bien/de beaucoup supérieurs à ceux de l’année dernière. (et non : plus supérieurs)
- La qualité de ces produits demeure très inférieure à celle des produits fabriqués au Canada. (et non : plus inférieure)
