Les expressions merci bien et merci beaucoup sont toutes deux considérées comme familières par certains grammairiens.
Contrairement à sa fonction normale, qui est de modifier un verbe, un adjectif ou un autre adverbe, l’adverbe bien ou beaucoup modifie ici un nom.
En principe, on devrait dire :
- je vous remercie beaucoup (de préférence à : merci beaucoup)
