Le verbe révoquer et le nom révocation expriment l’idée d’annuler un acte juridique au moyen de formalités déterminées :
- révoquer un contrat
- révoquer une convention
- révoquer un testament
Pour un permis, on dit plutôt retirer, enlever, suspendre :
- On lui a retiré son permis de conduire la semaine dernière pour conduite en état d’ébriété.
- On lui a enlevé son permis de séjour temporaire, car il a commis un crime.
