La préposition sur ne marque jamais la comparaison.
On doit plutôt employer la locution par rapport à :
- Il ne peut s’empêcher de faire la comparaison de son nouvel emploi par rapport à son ancien. (et non : de son nouvel emploi sur son ancien)
- Elle a comparé les résultats de l’année en cours par rapport à ceux de l’année dernière. (et non : sur ceux de l’année dernière)
