Capitalize the words anniversary and birthday when they appear in the title of a card, scroll, banner or poster:
- Happy 85th Birthday
- For Your 50th Wedding Anniversary
- Congratulations on Your 100th Birthday
- 50th Wedding Anniversary of Jean and Jeanne
Do not capitalize the words anniversary and birthday in general writing, as in a letter or message:
- Congratulations on your 85th birthday!
- All the best on your 50th wedding anniversary!
