When citing an edition other than the first one in a bibliographic entry, indicate the edition used in Arabic numerals and abbreviate the word “edition” as “ed.”:
- Werther, William B., et al. Canadian Human Resource Management. 3rd ed.
Whitby, Ont.: McGraw-Hill Ryerson, 1990.
Note: The words “reprint,” “printing” and “impression” do not indicate a new edition.
