There has been an evolution in the use of the modifiers ice and iced, as in ice cream and iced tea. In the early twentieth century, ice cream was called iced cream. Today, the older form iced is generally used for iced tea and iced coffee.
- Yussef didn’t want to choose, so he had both ice cream and iced tea.
